Fire Country season 3’s trailer doesn’t explain what brought the helicopter to fly so close to the ground that it crashed into Edgewater, but it nonetheless details all the structures affected by the crash. Still, no matter what could have reasonably caused that accident, Fire Country season 3 made an event so unlikely in real life stop Gabriela’s wedding.
With 120 helicopter crashes happening on average in the US (via AirMed&Rescue) per year, Fire Country really chose one of the least likely events to give Gabriela an out during her wedding, letting her stop it without having to face the music. Indeed, despite having various doubts about starting a life with Diego after her kiss with Bode, the helicopter crash gives Gabriela the chance to focus on an emergency and pour everything into that instead of dealing with her feelings, even spending time with Bode on the rescue as Fire Country season 3’s trailer shows.

Fire Country season 3’s helicopter crash isn’t just peculiar because of its unlikelihood.
