New update: Fire Country Season 3 Cast Is Adding New Ex-Con With Grey’s Anatomy Alum

Fire Country season 3 has added a new ex-convict to its cast of characters, with a Grey’s Anatomy alum portraying the newcomer to Edgewater. Fire Country season 2 ended with characters making plenty of big decisions, such as Bode deciding to let Gabriela and Diego go through with their wedding. Despite all the painful moments characters have gone through in recent episodes, season 3 is likely to continue bringing both good and bad changes to their lives and the town they live in.

Now, TVLine has confirmed that Grey’s Anatomy alum Leven Rambin will be joining Fire Country season 3 as ex-con and former fire camp attendee Audrey. Rambin appeared in the long-running medical drama as Mark Sloan’s daughter, and will now be portraying the newest member of the firefighting show’s cast. While not much is known about her role as of writing, she’s described as a tough yet empathetic former prisoner with a passion for music.

What Could Audrey’s Role Be In Fire Country Season 3?

The story of Fire Country season 3 is currently unclear, although it will continue focusing on the intersecting professional and personal lives of firefighters part of the Conservation Camp Program. However, season 2 saw the program under threat of shutting down, leading Manny to punch Luke, subsequently getting arrested for the assault. With the program potentially still under threat going into the next episodes, it could be a key focus that drives Audrey to come back to Edgewater in the first place.

One possibility is that she arrives to formally defend the program, revealing the importance of it despite some of the negative consequences surrounding its upkeep. This will lead her to intersect with existing Fire Country characters, including Bode, whose testimony could also be important to keeping the program alive. Although speculative, it’s also possible she ends up becoming a love interest for him, something that could taint her attempts at saving the camp if she’s supposed to be a wholly outside party.

Since there’s very little known about her character so far, she could end up having an entirely unexpected role that can’t be predicted without more information. She may even tie into the show’s upcoming spinoff Sheriff Country, which is slated to begin in late 2025. Since the show is going to be returning on October 18, 2024, it won’t be much longer until the full extent of her role in the series gets revealed. Whatever happens, it seems she’ll be a very important person for the camp moving ahead.
