Below Deck season 11’s Chief Stew Fraser Olender has been difficult for viewers to get behind, but he’s speaking up on social media about the backlash against him this season. Fraser, who first appeared on Below Deck Mediterranean before jumping over to the original series, has been working hard to make sure this charter season is nothing like what he dealt with in the past. Unfortunately for Fraser, the reception of his behavior from Below Deck fans hasn’t been forgiving. Many have struggled to understand where Fraser is coming from in his behavior toward Barbie Pascual and Chef Anthony Iracane.

“Um, if you don’t like me, that’s fine”

In a new TikTok, Fraser is shown lip synching to a sound in a clear message back to his haters. “Um, if you don’t like me, that’s fine,” the sound says as Fraser looks off-camera, messing around with his hair as he mouths along the words.

“But, you know,” he continues, “watch your mouth.” Fraser, who looks unbothered in the video, makes it clear that he’s responding to his haters with his caption on the video, which is a simple eye roll emoji along with the handles for Below Deck and Bravo. Fraser is clearly getting heat for his behavior.

Should Fraser Olender Be Fired On Below Deck?

While Fraser has been an integral part of the Below Deck universe for the last several seasons, there have been some serious issues with the way he’s been treating his fellow crew members during the most recent charter season. From his blatant disrespect towards stew Barbie both before and after Cat Baugh’s departure to his treatment of Chef Anthony during some difficult moments in the last few charters, Fraser has displayed his inability to lead in a variety of ways. After bringing his personal issues and preferences into the mix aboard St. David, it’s clear Fraser has work to do.

While many believe Fraser can work through his issues as a Chief Stew as time goes by, it seems like he may be stuck in his ways to others. Fraser has been difficult to work with throughout his time on Below Deck, and after showing during more than one charter that he’s been unable to separate his personal feelings from his professional abilities, it’s clear he hasn’t changed. While some may want to give Fraser the benefit of the doubt, even Captain Kerry Titheradge shared on Below Deck season 11 that Fraser needs to learn to separate his worlds.

Though Fraser hasn’t been let go for his behavior, it’s possible that he could still be fired from St. David’s crew if things continue the way they’ve been going. Despite being able to perform his job somewhat comfortably, Fraser can’t handle the criticism being thrown at him for valid reasons. While not everything is shown on screen, it appears that Fraser has been unnecessarily unkind to Barbie, and the same may be true for Chef Anthony, as well. The Below Deck Chief Stew may need to learn how to take the heat if he’s going to continue to lead.

Below Deck airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo, then streams the following day on Peacock.
