Below Deck Med Season 10 Fate Revealed Amid Allegations Of Cast Members Faking Poor Performances

After a season full of accusations of allegedly faking poor performances and manipulation, the fate of Below Deck Mediterranean season 10 has been revealed. Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 has been a tough season to watch due to the many mishaps and even near-death experiences for some of the guests. Elena Dubaich and Bri Muller started out on good terms but quickly turned to enemies when they both started relationships with Joe Bradley, a member of the exterior crew. Chef Johnathan “Jono” Shillingford is about to make a mistake that could be deadly for a charter guest.

“T his must be Med, right? “

With so many things going wrong during Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 and rumors swirling that these mistakes were actually made on purpose, the fate of Below Deck Mediterranean season 10 has been in question. Recently, Bravo & Cocktails posted an image showing filming equipment and supplies on a yacht in Barcelona, Spain.

Due to the location, there has been speculation on Reddit that this could mean only one thing: Below Deck Mediterranean season 10 is about to begin filming. In a Reddit thread started by bword___, user 10268999 asked, “This must be Med, right?” to which Itsthebeach answered in the affirmative.

Aesha Scott Might Have Spoiled Her Below Deck Med Return

Aesha Scott Says She Is “Working On A New Project”

The announcement that Below Deck Mediterranean season 10 may be filming in Barcelona is big news, though some believe that Aesha Scott, known for being a chief stew across the Below Deck franchise, has already spoiled the show’s return. When Bravo & Cocktails originally posted the news, a follower responded to the story saying, “Aesha just left a few days ago for a project she said will take her away a while – hope it’s this!” Although Aesha did not specifically say what she was doing, the fact that there is filming in Barcelona is a major clue.

Barcelona happens to be in the area where Below Deck Mediterranean would ideally film, and Aesha has been taken away on a project where she will be unable to interact on social media for a while. This definitely sounds like Below Deck Mediterranean season 10 is filming, which is shocking considering how badly the current season is going. There have been a lot of concerns that the empathetic, if not often frustrating, leader Captain Sandy Yawn may not be returning for another season due to how bad Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 has been.

Below Deck Mediterranean season 9 is also fighting rumors that the producers are heavily interfering with the storylines of some of the crew members, such as Bosun Iain Maclean and Chef Jono. Producers have been accused of making Iain and Jono’s performances seem much worse and much more incompetent than they actually were in order to create entertaining television. However, some of these alleged interferences have gone too far, such as Chef Jono serving a guest food she is deathly allergic to. Captain Sandy said that she would have no choice but to fire him for this dangerous mistake.

The Below Deck franchise has many shows that are constantly being filmed and aired, with little to no breaks between the premiere of each new season. While Bravo rotates which version of Below Deck is currently on, Below Deck may be getting to the point that natural drama is not cutting it anymore. The producers are important to each show they work on, but the show needs to feel natural in order to be entertaining. Even though Below Deck is facing some backlash now, there is no doubt it is still a beloved show.

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo and is available to stream the following day on Peacock.
