‘Below Deck’ Captains Praise Captain Lee Rosbach

Below Deck fans were stunned when Captain Lee Rosbach left the show, and a few days ago, the other captains in the Bravo franchise praised him for his role. Bravo launched the sailing show just over ten years ago, and Captain Lee immediately became fans’ favorite. Actually, some people blamed Captain Sandy Yawn for his departure as she took over from him when he was ill. A feud erupted after she fired one of the crew without first checking in with Captain Lee.

Captain Lee Rosbach started a podcast after he left Below Deck, and later, the good news arrived that he landed a new show. The new show titled, Deadly Waters, is all about true crime at sea. During the recent gathering, he said he started his career at sea when he saw a vacancy for a sailing job with “no experience” needed.

If you hadn’t heard, Captain Sandy Yawn talked about being a young teen with addiction problems. Working on cleaning boats, she got a break and ended up going to “sea school.” Meanwhile, Glenn Shephard had his own boat and decided he wanted to try commercial sailing “as a career.”

Captain Chambers revealed how he “played professional sport” in Australia. On tour in the UK, he ended up offered “day work” on a boat and never looked back. As for Captain Kerry Titheradge, he spoke about pumping gas and he got an offer to help on a boat for an hour or so. It was Kerry who started off praising Captain Lee Rosbach. He said:
None of us would be here if you didn’t make the show successful, if you didn’t work with the production crew, if you didn’t find ways to make things work. Just to see what it’s grown to, it’s gone from a show that everyone was dogging. And, from that, it’s grown to a very popular show, and then, from that platform, different people are able to help other people in their lives.

Captain Lee Rosbach is a bit modest and he claimed that many people made the Bravo show work out. Plus, he requested that they keep giving their best as the show moves on without him.
