I think these are characters who didn’t deserve to be kicked off Below Deck.
The Below Deck franchise has seen many crew members get fired, but some may not have deserved it. This Bravo show is known for its drama and unexpected twists, showing both valid and questionable firings. One such example is Bosun Luke Jones from Below Deck Down Under. He made the mistake of getting naked and forcing himself into bed with Margot Sisson, leading Captain Jason Chambers to quickly let him go as a clear example to the rest of the crew. Stewardess Laura Bileskaline also found herself kicked off the boat for a similar reason.
Just Luke and Laura, Kyle Dickard’s behavior on Below Deck was sure to catch up with him. The former deckhand didn’t always follow instructions and thought he was above everyone else. He even disrespected Below Deck Adventure Stew Kasie Faddah. When he crossed the line by threatening Nathan Mobley, Captain Kerry Titheradge had had enough and let him go on the spot. Other crew members like Trevor Walker, Raygan Tyler, and Peter Hunziker were also let go for their actions. Some crew members, though, deserved a second chance before getting the boot from their captains.
8Tom Pearson
Tom Was The Perfect Fit For The Below Deck Crew With His Positive Energy
Tom Pearson was a promising deckhand on Below Deck Sailing Yacht. He was so excited about working with the crew. Unfortunately, he and Gary King just couldn’t see eye to eye. Plus, he had a crush on Ashley Marti, which may have been distracting. In one of the episodes, Tom fails to let Gary know about the dragging anchor in time, which makes Captain Glenn Shephard disappointed in him. He had to fire Tom for putting the boat at risk. It’s a shame because Tom could’ve shown everyone he had what it takes to be part of the team.
7Parker McCown
Paget Decided To Leave The Season Early
During his debut in Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 1, Parker McCown was a charming and youthful addition to the crew. He appeared to be a skilled deckhand with plenty of confidence. However, First Officer Paget Berry didn’t quite see eye to eye with Parker’s confidence. He had concerns about Parker’s attitude and his seeming disregard for feedback. Just when Paget was considering letting Parker go, the young deckhand surprised everyone by quitting in episode 12. Fans were left speechless, expecting more from him.
Paget probably should’ve addressed the issues earlier, so Parker could’ve completed the season as he deserved.
6Elizabeth Frankini
Elizabeth Slept In The Wrong Cabin
In Below Deck season 8, Elizabeth Frankini faced challenges as the stewardess on the yacht. She worked alongside Chief Stew Francesca Rubi and excelled in her role. However, a bump in the road occurred when Francesca noticed that Elizabeth was a bit laid back and didn’t always follow all the rules. In a particular episode, Elizabeth slept in a guest cabin instead of her own, which disappointed Francesca. Sadly, Francesca had to let Elizabeth go after this incident.
Elizabeth managed to stay on the show for 15 episodes and showed her potential as a stewardess despite this slip-up.
5Adam Kodra
Adam Lost His Job Because He Was Inexperienced
Adam Kodra’s departure from Below Deck Down Under season 2 was truly heart-wrenching. He was a talented young deckhand who had the potential to become a beloved regular on the show. He quickly formed strong bonds with everyone on the crew and won over fans in just a few episodes. Sadly, Captain Jason had to let Adam go as he believed the deckhand needed more experience before handling a luxury yacht like Northern Sun. Despite the setback, Adam received an outpouring of support from his fellow Below Deck cast members.
Bri Muller and Elena Dubaich’s feud is clouding Below Deck Mediterranean season 9, so which stew should be fired by Captain Sandy Yawn first?
4Alissa Humber
Alissa Displayed A Lack Of Respect Towards Captain Sandy
Alissa Humber made her debut on Below Deck season 10 as the show’s second stewardess, alongside Hayley De Sola Pinto, Fraser Olender, Camille Lamb, and Tyler Walker. Alissa showed great potential with her confidence and decisiveness, making her the perfect right-hand crew member for the bosun. Unfortunately, Alissa faced some challenges with her personality, such as addressing Captain Sandy Yawn by her first name, leading to her dismissal from the crew. While Alissa was a decent crew member who would have benefited from a second chance, Captain Sandy’s decision to let her go was understandable in order to set an example.
3Chef Anthony Iracane
Captain Kerry Fired Chef Anthony To Prevent Any Big Problems From Happening
Chef Anthony Iracane really showed promise and had some serious talent in the kitchen. It was clear that he had a lot to offer, but he faced some challenges during his time on the show – like his dyslexia and being under a lot of stress. Captain Kerry eventually decided to let him go, not because he was a terrible chef, but because he wasn’t quite hitting the mark.
Chef Anthony didn’t make any major mistakes, so maybe Captain Kerry could’ve given him more time to shine on the boat.
2Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran
Captain Sandy Made The Difficult Choice To Send Kiko Packing Early
Captain Sandy has had to fire many crew members in the past decade, but her decision to part ways with Hindrigo “Kiko” Lorran was tough. Kiko was a team player and friend to Chief Stew Hannah Ferrier. He may not have been a top-tier chef, but he collaborated well with the stew team to keep the guests happy. Unfortunately, Captain Sandy felt that his culinary skills didn’t meet the high standards of the luxury yacht. She made the difficult decision to part ways with Kiko after he and Hannah served subpar fried dishes on Vegas night.
1Hannah Ferrier
Hannah Had An Unregistered Valium & Vape Pen With Her
Captain Sandy ultimately decided to part ways with Hannah Ferrier after Kiko left. Despite being a longstanding member of Below Deck Mediterranean, Hannah was dismissed for carrying a vape pen and an unregistered valium. Although she did break the rules, Hannah never let it affect her performance as a top-notch chief stew. She demonstrated strong leadership skills and managed her team effectively. Unfortunately, Captain Sandy felt it was necessary to let her go as a lesson to others. Hopefully, the beloved Below Deck crew members get a second chance in the future before they’re let go.
