Is ‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’ Canceled?

Captain Glenn Shepard helmed Parsifal III in Season 1 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht and he remained in the show right until Season 4. The season ended in July last year and Season 5 was said to film last year in the summer. But a premiere date hasn’t yet arrived. Has it been canceled or just delayed?

Below Deck Sailing Yacht Has An Uncertain Future?
Gary King took over as the first officer from Paget Berry in Season 2. He soon became front and center in a confrontation with Alli Dore, the 3rd stewardess. She liked Gary a lot, but he flirted with Sydney Zaruba, the deckhand, who happened to be topless in the hot tub. So, Alli ranted about him. But worse was to follow.

Ahead of BravcoCon last year, Gary King claimed that a story about him allegedly sexually harassing a member of the production staff was just a power play. You might recall that he allegedly got way too touchy-feely and wouldn’t let her get away. That saw the end of Gary on the Below Deck Sailing Yacht show. But, there are rumors that Bravo brushed it under the carpet and he might have filmed for Season 5.
Canceled Or Delayed? Cast Open Up On Social Media
Alli Dore was central to a lot of scenes on the show under Captain Glenn Shephard. She admitted that filming was a challenge. And now she kickstarted a conversation about the Bravo show. That could mean two things. Either the show is about to announce a premiere date for Season 5. Or, it could mean that it’s further delayed or canceled.

Season 4 was full of drama because there was a love triangle involving Daisy Kelliher, Colin MacRae, and Gary King. Add the sexual misconduct allegations, and it might mean that Below Deck Sailing Yacht is shelved, or it could take time to edit out any Season 5 footage of Gary. The trip down memory lane arrived via Alli on Instagram last week.
Alli Dore Reminisces About The Bravo Spinoff
A collection of photos from the Bravo spinoff went up on Alli’s Dore’s post and she captioned it with:

How has it been three years since we filmed Below Deck Sailing Yacht? The funniest part is we spent half the season making out with each other and now we all hate each other 😂 Ok maybe not all, just most of us 🤭 Still one of the most fun experiences of my life and I wouldn’t change it for anything!

Later in the comments, she mentioned, “Just realised @king_gk isn’t in any of these pics whoops I swear that was an accident 😂🤭”

Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Captain Glenn Shephard responded by saying, “What a season! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤.” Well, Alli thanked him for being a great captain. But said nothing about him soon helming the yacht again. Lots of fans said that they want the show to come back. But there was no response to any demands or questions.
