Fans actually agreed with Johnny Damon and his critique of the Below Deck staff.
Nobody does reality TV like Below Deck. The Bravo series has a diverse audience and, over the years, fans have also seen a wide-range of celebs on the show. That included reality stars and athletes.
One athlete in particular might’ve done more harm than good. Johnny Damon wasn’t really glowing about his experience and, in truth, he complained about his camera time, and service. Although Damon’s assessment might’ve harsh, fans actually agreed with what the athlete had to say.

Johnny Damon Questioned His Below Deck Screentime And Quality Of Service
At the age of 50, Johnny Damon’s days as an athlete are over. However, he managed to enter the reality TV world in a major way with a few different cameos on Below Deck. He was a guest alongside Michelle Damon in both season 4 and 5 of Below Deck Med. Fans noticed a couple of things during Damon’s appearance. For one, he was very particular about his food, so much so that he even sent back a dish. Damon’s experience wasn’t a positive one, stating on The Daily Dish that it wasn’t five stars. Ouch.
Damon had another complaint about his time on the show. The former MLB player felt as though he had a lack of screentime. Damon revealed, “We kept expecting the camera to be in our face, and it wasn’t.”
Despite facing the opposite experience to what fans expected, he returned to season 5.
We aren’t quite sure what the mission intent was for Damon on Below Deck. If it was to get fans talking, he certainly succeeded, as people on YouTube opened a wide discussion about Damon ripping on Anastasia’s food. For the most part, fans agreed with Damon’s assessment.

Whitney Thompson Also Admitted She Didn’t Make Life Easy For Those Working On The Yacht
America’s Next Top Model winner Whitney Thompson also appeared on the show. She took part in the first season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht. Once again, there was a complaint behind the scenes. This time it was from Chef Adam Glick, who complained about Thompson’s requests for vegan food. Discussing her appearance on Instagram, Thompson agreed she wasn’t the easiest guest to deal with.
She captioned, “Watch me on Below Deck tomorrow night! ⚓️ I had all my favorite Nashville peeps, & we did not make the crew’s life easy! ⛵️ Chef Adam is already complaining about me being vegan. 🤣🙄🌱 Tune in tomorrow night for all of the drama!”
There are other notable names to appear on the show in recent years. Former The Real Housewives Of New York City star Jill Zarin is among that list. Looking back, she was considered among the most difficult charter guests during season 11. It seems like Zarin made several demands of the crew, giving off the impression that she was there to test the staff. It seems like when Zarin left, it caused massive joy for crew.
It remains to be seen if others will appear on the show. Reddit fans confirmed that Below Deck has a large fanbase with some notable celebs.

There is a large portion of celebs that watch Below Deck. Jeremy Allen White’s interest for Below Deck sparked a discussion on Reddit of other celebrity names that watch the show. The list is stacked, including Conan O’Brien and Leslie Jones.
