Below Deck: Rachel Hargrove & Fraser Olender’s Feud – Could They Work Together in Season 12?
Chef Rachel Hargrove and Fraser Olender have been at odds since Below Deck season 10, but will they ever make amends? The reality yachting show debuted in 2016 under Captain Lee Rosbach’s leadership. He served as the captain of the show for ten seasons until Kerry Titheradge replaced him in season 11. Captain Lee had to leave mid-charter season during the tenth installment of the show for medical reasons and was subsided by Captain Sandy Yawn. His sudden departure was just one instance of drama present during Below Deck season 10.
Camille Lamb was the source of much conflict during the season. As a stew and deckhand, she juggled two jobs at once. When Camille was called out for her poor performance, she got upset and was fired by Captain Sandy. Chef Rachel and Fraser vocalized their distaste for the stew/deckhand. It was one of the main things they agreed on during season 10. The chef and Chief Stew got along swimmingly during season 9 but suffered a rift in their relationship during their second season together. Nowadays, it’s unclear where they stand.

Rumors of their feud exploded when Fraser seemingly called Chef Rachel “evil” in a comment on TikTok. While the original post has been deleted, Reddit user @pcvanon shared a screenshot of the Chief Stew allegedly replying to a comment championing him, Chef Rachel, and Hayley De Sola Pint, writing, “Rachel is evil this season, you don’t want her back – you’ll see.” Throughout Below Deck season 10, they clashed quite a bit, but the chef wasn’t ever depicted in a villainous manner.
They Don’t Follow Each Other On Social Media
Chef Rachel & Fraser Aren’t Mutuals Online
Chef Rachel and Fraser notably don’t follow each other on social media. After their feud, this came as no surprise. They didn’t get along great on-screen during Below Deck season 10, and the Chief Stew didn’t hold back sharing his opinions while the show aired. In a February 2023 Tweet, Fraser said Captain Lee and Chef Rachel had “bad energy” while calling out that her “food [was never brought] on time.”

They Should Put Their Drama Aside, But Will They?
It’s unclear if the Below Deck alum will ever mend their friendship. Unfortunately, their relationship has soured. Chef Rachel will likely never return to the show after her relationship with Bravo soured. It’s unlikely their paths will cross again on Below Deck, hinting they’ll never make up. Chef Rachel and Fraser should put their bad blood aside, but that may be wishful thinking.
Fraser and Chef Rachel have been feuding since he allegedly called her “evil.” The chef announced her exit before the airing of Below Deck season 10, hinting that this duo will never work together again. It would be great to see Chef Rachel and Fraser interact on the show again, but that’s unlikely.
