Kate Chastain reunites with Aesha Scott – promising many new interesting things on Below Deck Med Season 9

Kate Chastain is no longer on Below Deck, yet she is still watching her former franchise from afar. Due to this, alongside her ability to bring in an audience, Bravo is bringing Kate back. Don’t get too excited, as it’s just for one episode of the Below Deck Med After Show. In a preview containing this week’s footage, Kate joins Below Deck Mediterranean’s Season 9 Chief Stew Aesha Scott for a little chat. And now, I need these two on a yacht, stat.

To note, I’m officially excited for this little collab. However, my resting b*tch face mirrors Kate’s, so you’ll have to take my word, not my face value, on this matter.

Below Deck Med After Show sneak peek: Kate, Kate, Aesha

In a newly-dropped sneak peek for Below Deck Med’s Season 9 After Show, Kate appears, seated next to Aesha. Laughing, Aesha jokes, “If we morphed into one chief stew, we would probably be the world’s best chief stew.” Kate nods, agreeing, “We would.”

In the next clip, a producer sounds off once again. She says, “I’m going to give every crew member’s name. I want you to give me your first impression of them.” A thrilled Kate answers, “Okay. I like this.”

Up first is Chef Johnathan Shillingford. “Fun, at first, is my vibe,” explains Kate, adding, “I feel like he can get a little b*tchy.” Aesha agrees, yet she also throws in something kind, noting that “he was just so insanely calm,” which she appreciated during BDM Season 9.

Kate and Aesha then reminisce about a few of their franchises’ worst chefs. Meanwhile, the producers play back footage of these cranky cooks in question.

As for Bri Muller, Kate calls Bri “Green.” Then there’s Nathan Gallagher. Kate calls him “cute.” On Joe Bradley, Kate says, “eyebrows.”

On Elena Dubaich, Kate throws in a few extra words, saying “gorgeous, sexy, available.” But then we get another one-word answer when Iain Maclean’s name arrives. Kate calls him a “deckhand.”

The next yachtie in question is Gael Cameron. Kate asks, “Has Leonardo DiCaprio seen her yet?” Dead. When Captain Sandy Yawn’s name pops up, Kate explains that she’s known her for years and respects her greatly. Kate also loves and respects Aesha.

And then, the sneak peek ends.

Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9/8c on Bravo.
